~ Surfers Retreat ~

“Surfers Retreat” is a concept of bespoke summer houses at the area of Punda, Paros, with the aim of providing an ideal place for surfers and their families to spend their summer holidays. Taking inspiration from waves they consist of small white plastered volumes that slide one next to the other, to form well protected from the northern winds outdoor spaces.

The layout of building program intents to offer enthusiasts of kite and wind surfing the perfect place to be. Outdoor storage spaces allow guests to wash and store equipment gear with ease, Enclosed outdoor spaces offer privacy and peace of mind to the occupants.

The houses are divided into smaller volumes, to better adjust to the scale of vernacular farmhouses. The patios created between the corresponding volumes house different activities throughout the day.
